Eznis Airways inaugurated their state-of-the-art aircraft hangar equipped with the latest technology on 18th of May 2012. This event also commemorated the 87th annual civil aviation day.
This monumental project was designed by Coffey International (Australia) and Con Consulting (Mongolia), and the project management was done by Devco (Mongolia). The anticorrosive and fire-resistant tenacious steel frame was delivered from England made by Reid Steel (UK). Hangar was constructed by Bridge Construction (Mongolia). The hangar which will become the technical maintenance center of Eznis Airways is 6638 sq. m and can house up to 6 aircrafts.
This aircraft hangar marks as one of the biggest private investment in the civil aviation sector. By bringing the hangar into full operation, it enables aircraft maintenance to be done anytime of the day, anytime of the year. The hangar will also help to further improve aircraft maintenance and safety by creating a dust-free climate controlled working environment for the engineers.
